Danielle is done riding in shopping carts. She has to push the cart. She feels like such a big girl. When she's tired of walking she starts fussing, but she won't stop pushing the cart. She loves it. Rebekah and Samantha have the opposite problem. They still like to ride in the cart because they don't like to walk.

Burke Lake
We had fun playing at Burke Lake on Saturday. We had a picnic, climbed a tree, rode the train, explored the playground, and went for a walk. Fun times!

1st Grade Author Night
Last week we went to "Authors' Night" at Rebekah's school. Each 1st grader read one of their own stories. Rebekah had written a long, complicated book about a talking dog. It was great! Her reading and writing has really improved this year.
